2 Year Old Baby Hoody Banned From Shop!

Little Jay Cowper was wrapped up against the cold wearing his favourite grey hoody, but both he and his grandfather were asked to leave Monkton Stores in York.

The employees at the store were insistent that they had a very clear policy on ‘no hoodies’ because of their recent trouble with teenager yobs who wear also wearing hoodies.

The boy’s grandmother, Brenda Cowper, the boy;s grandmother labeled the staff descison as ludicrous. She said: ‘ He’s just a 2 year old baby, what on earth are they thinking. Although there’s a few kids round here that cause trouble, they’re usually in their teens – not 2 years old. It’s a bit pathetic really, and I certainly won’t be shopping there.’

Her husband refused to take Jay’s hood down as a matter of principle and left the shop, she said.

Last year, 47-year-old nurse Lorraine Robinson was refused to be served at the store for exactly the same reason.

  1. Yesterday I got ejected of Touchwood mall in Solihull for wearing a hoody. Each Sat. , for the last couple of weeks, I first went swimming, and later for a pleasant lunch, some shopping and a theatre trip to the mall.

Yesterday night, after leaving the theatre, I wrapped up tenderly in my beloved coat, put my hood on to feel more cosy against the cold, and was going to leave when I got roared at by this skinheaded security guard to take my hood down. All of the shops were closed, and I was going to leave anyway, so I didn’t see any reason to be treated like that. Well, I know now where I am NOT going to spend my next Saturdays.

Absolutely, it’s a stupid. He’s only two-year-old, but the store treat him as an teenager or yobbo. I am sad and shocked when I read this stuff. The store really needs to revise this stupid policy.

Well, I agree it is quite ridculous. Not quite the sort of thing I expected to come accross on this site though; interesing.
