Hoody Graffiti Art From Banksy

The picture above is a piece of graffiti art painted by street artist Banksy, in a direct comment on Britain in 2008 where 16 teenagers were killed in London in knife attacks.
This sinister picture of today’s British youth cultrue was unveiled the same weekend when Boris Johnson was elected mayor of London.

Johnson has promised to tackle youth crime which he described as “the apex of a pyramid of violence, thuggery and bullying that is making life less pleasant for everyone in the city”.

This particular photograph was taken at the Cans Festival on Leake Street in May 2008.

The image has since been painted over.
